ArcPath Sourcing privacy policy

This policy describes how ArcPath Sourcing handles information typed into the procurement form. The form posts to /service/feedback.act. The stored inquiry uses the existing field names for name, company, email, phone, and content. Optional product, budget, currency, basis, and supplier-preference controls have no separate field names. In browsers that support the formdata event, those notes are appended to the content field at submit and are not written back into the box you typed.

Why the brief is collected

The purpose is to understand a business purchase of alternative steel buildings and to ask suppliers comparable questions. Typical details include building use, footprint, eave height, clear span, bay spacing, project location, code jurisdiction, wind and snow criteria, quantity, destination, requested timing, and the scope label you choose. A reference search phrase may be included as context. It is not used to open an account with the referenced brand.

What is not collected on purpose

The form does not ask for payment card numbers, government identity numbers, or precise home addresses of private individuals. Do not place those items in the requirement box. The site does not publish a street office, so location data in the brief should describe the project destination, not a visit to this desk. No social login is offered.

Who may see the file

People coordinating the inquiry can read it. Relevant portions may be sent to suppliers you ask the desk to approach, limited to what they need to quote the stated scope. Service providers who host the form may process the transmission. They are not authorized to use the brief as a public testimonial. The desk does not sell inquiry lists.

Retention and correction

Briefs are kept long enough to finish the comparison conversation, to answer a follow-up about the same project, and to meet ordinary business record needs. You may ask for a correction by sending another note through the form that identifies the earlier work email and the project. Some supplier copies already sent cannot be pulled back from that supplier; the request will be forwarded when a contact path exists.

Browser storage on this site

A sourcing-support notice may store the time it was first shown in local storage so the notice can end after the stated window. Closing the strip can set a session flag so the strip stays hidden for that browser session. Those keys are not the procurement brief. Search keywords typed into the header search box are submitted with the search request you start.

Children and business use

The site is aimed at business buyers. It is not directed to children, and briefs that appear to come from a minor will not be developed into a supplier request.

Updates

If this policy changes, the new text will replace this page. The form will still use the same field names unless the site platform itself changes that contract. Questions about a specific brief can be sent through the contact page with enough detail to find the earlier submission.
